Apply for the
Provisional
You need to apply for your Provisional License to begin driving on the roads. Download the form from the Motor Tax office website or visit your local office.
You need to get an eyesight test done, download the form here.
You need to bring along, or post, two identical passports photos.
You also need to pay the €15 fee.
In some cases you will need to undergo a medical test. (in cases of special illnesses or heavy vehicles)
